Not Everything That Feels Right Is Right

Proverbs 14 gives a sobering but protective reminder:

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” — Proverbs 14:12

Seeming right and being right are not always the same thing.

Our instincts can feel convincing. Our emotions can feel certain. Our reasoning can feel justified. But wisdom understands that perspective is limited.

The danger is not always rebellion. The danger is misplaced confidence.

Alignment Over Instinct

Wisdom pauses and asks, Lord, is this truly Your way?

Not just what feels easiest. Not just what feels logical. Not just what everyone else is doing.

God’s way may require humility. It may require patience. It may require surrender. But it always leads to life.

Submitting your perspective to His is not weakness. It is alignment.

And alignment brings stability.

Choose the Better Path

There are paths that seem right but slowly lead to compromise. And there are paths that require trust but lead to growth.

Wisdom chooses the path that aligns with God’s truth over personal instinct.

Because in the long run, alignment produces life.
