Plan and Trust

Proverbs 16 gives us a beautiful tension:

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9

Wisdom plans. It sets direction. It takes initiative. But wisdom also trusts.

You may have a vision for your life. You may have goals and timelines. And that is good. But ultimately, God establishes your steps.

He sees what you cannot see. He understands what you do not yet understand.

Established Steps

God is not surprised by detours. He is not scrambling when doors close. He is not confused when plans shift.

You plan. He establishes.

That truth does not remove responsibility. It removes anxiety.

You can take the next step in faith, knowing that God is guiding what you cannot control.

Walk Forward With Confidence

Trust does not mean passivity. It means partnership.

As you commit your plans to Him, He directs your path in ways that often make sense only in hindsight.

Wisdom walks confidently, not because it controls the future, but because it trusts the One who does.

And when the Lord establishes your steps, you can move forward without fear.
